“There is no greatness without a passion to be great, whether it’s the aspiration of an athlete or an artist, a scientist, a parent, or a businessperson.”
– Anthony Robbins
What are you passionate about? It can be many things. It could be many small things, or merely a few things that are extremely important. For me I’m passionate about the law. Specifically, I’m passionate about helping those who have been injured by someone else’s reckless or careless acts. This area of the law has been my passion for many years, and continues to be so.
The other day I read this quote: “To be successful, the first thing to do is fall in love with your work.” That’s what passion is all about. It may sound a little corny, but if I hadn’t fallen in love with the line of work I am in, I wouldn’t be able to help the people that I do. In being passionate about my work, I am in turn passionate about each client’s case. I’m passionate about ensuring that my clients are able to have the best circumstances and changes in their recovery. Being able to help clients become whole again is such an important aspect of being a personal injury attorney. One of the things we try to establish here at McDivitt Law Firm is that we are passionate about our clients first. Our clients aren’t just a legal matter. They are people, and thus our reason to provide excellent service.
While I am passionate about the law and serving those throughout Colorado and the Nation who have been injured, I want to remind others to truly discover what they are passionate about. It doesn’t have to be your job, but strive to be passionate about something. Everyone wants something in their life that really excites them. Something that makes them get up in the morning; that brings happiness to their life. Passion is such a great emotion, but it is an even better motivator. When you are motivated to be great in whatever you choose, there should be nothing stopping you. I choose to be a great attorney for my clients. What do you want to be great at?
