Imagine driving home this Halloween from the bars in your Marvel superhero costume, and getting pulled over by the cops. Not only is it embarrassing talking to a police officer in your costume, but it can be even more embarrassing getting a DUI. Most importantly, it is extremely dangerous for you and the community if you get behind the wheel after a night of drinking.
In an effort to keep our streets safe this Halloween, McDivitt Law Firm is once again providing free cab rides to anyone who needs to get home safely after a night of merriment. Through the “Safe Ride Home” program, McDivitt is offering cab rides with Yellow Cab in Colorado Springs or City Cab in Pueblo between 10:00 PM – 3:00 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2015. The firm will pick up the tab for any Yellow Cab or City Cab ride, as long as the passengers are headed home—the free ride is not available from a bar or restaurant to another drinking establishment.
It’s on McDivitt!
For a free ride home, just call one of the following numbers and tell them your ride home is on McDivitt Law Firm. It’s that simple, and safe!
- Colorado Springs. Call Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs at (719) 777-7777
- Pueblo. Call City Cab of Pueblo at (719) 543-2525
The Safe Ride Home program is for adults who have been drinking or who don’t have a safe way home. Rides are provided to an individual’s residence—not to other drinking locations. Due to the high number of ride requests on Halloween, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate all requests. Patrons must remove masks or other facial coverings, and drivers have the right to use their discretion when accepting fares. Patrons are reminded to tip their drivers accordingly.
The Team at McDivitt wants to remind everyone that decides to celebrate this Halloween to do so safely. That means if you plan to drink either have a designated driver, or please take a cab home on us. Let’s not drink and drive, and let’s keep our streets safe. Have a Happy Halloween, all!
