Safer in 2020: Staying Home on NYE to Stay Safe

On NYE 2020, in lieu of sponsoring cab rides home and to help minimize the spread of COVID-19, McDivitt will be donating $25,000 to the Pikes Peak Community Foundation and United Way of Pueblo County’s emergency relief funds.

McDivitt Law Firm has sponsored cab rides home on New Year’s Eve for over a decade. These cab rides are meant to give people a free and responsible option to get home after celebrating the New Year. This year, to help minimize the spread of the virus in large gatherings, the firm is reassigning the program to help the community as best as possible.

McDivitt Law Firm is donating a total of $25,000 to the Pikes Peak Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund along with the United Way of Pueblo County’s Emergency Relief Fund.

McDivitt is dedicated to the health and safety of our community, and always looks for ways to support those efforts.

McDivitt Makes a Difference

In 2007, Karen and Mike McDivitt launched the community-outreach branch of their firm, McDivitt Makes a Difference, with a focus on two main initiatives: safety and education. Each year, McDivitt Law Firm not only supports its existing efforts in safety and education, but it finds new ways to help the community. To learn more visit http://www.McDivittMakesADifference.com
