Ring in 2016 by Celebrating Safely – Get a Ride Home on McDivitt
McDivitt Law Firm is happy to help ring in 2016 with the Safe Ride Home program in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. McDivitt is partnering with Yellow Cab in Colorado Springs, and City Cab in Pueblo to get people home safely between 10:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2015.
Kick off 2016 in the best way possible by having a plan – designate a driver, stay sober, or call a cab and tell your driver, “It’s on McDivitt.” For over seven years, McDivitt has worked to keep the streets safe by offering free cab rides home on designated holidays. Make sure you get home safely by calling a cab after raising a glass to 2016.
The law firm will pick up the tab for any of these rides, as long as the passengers are headed home – the free ride is not applicable from a bar or restaurant to another drinking establishment. Due to the high demand of cab rides on New Year’s Eve, rides cannot be guaranteed to everyone who calls, although every attempt will be made to fulfill all calls.
Celebrate safely, and help keep the community safe. If you’ll be drinking this New Year’s Eve, call a cab, and don’t forget to tell the driver, “It’s on McDivitt.”
It’s on McDivitt!
For a free ride home, just call one of the following numbers and tell them your ride home is on McDivitt Law Firm. It’s that simple, and safe!
- Colorado Springs. Call Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs at (719) 777-7777
- Pueblo. Call City Cab of Pueblo at (719) 543-2525
The Safe Ride Home program is for adults who have been drinking or who don’t have a safe way home. Rides are provided to an individual’s residence—not to other drinking locations. Due to the high number of ride requests on New Year’s Eve, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate all requests. Drivers have the right to use their discretion when accepting fares and patrons are reminded to tip their drivers accordingly.
The Team at McDivitt wants to remind everyone that decides to celebrate this New Year’s Eve to do so safely. That means if you plan to drink either have a designated driver, or please take a cab home on us. Let’s not drink and drive, and let’s keep our streets safe. Here’s to a great 2016!Back to the Blog
